Prepare to feel like you know ZILCH about music...but to get schooled the second you step inside. This is where DJs and musicians hang. Very cool.

Dig the tuneful treasures from the past or add some international flavor to your collection.. The Scene
Record store Dusty Groove's 2001 move to a street-level shop was smart: It's hard to miss now. Be thankful that there's a store at all, considering that much of the shop's fanatical clientele orders its booty from the Dusty Groove website.

The Goods
DJs, musicians and others with eclectic music tastes tend to frequent this boutique shop. Its claim to fame is an incredible selection of world imports and vintage reissues. You'll find loads of classic funk, soul, Afro-pop, bossa nova, film soundtracks, groovier jazz and lounge. You'll also stay ahead of the trends when you shop here. When 1960s tropicalia music was rediscovered by Americans, Dusty Groove was already stocking Brazilian Caetano Veloso's early albums. If Fela Kuti, Baden Powell, Serge Gainsbourg and Ennio Morricone are among your gods, come here to offer your devotion.
