Good times, excellent food and creative specials. I used to go to this place all the time when I lived in the city but now that my wife and I are in the burbs we don't really get to go again. So the last time we went was awesome! The food is still great and the prices are fair. The other thing we love about this place is the relaxed atmosphere! It's a shame we can't keep going there but we definitely will keep coming back every now and then!

great neighborhood bar!. My husband and I were driving home from work and couldn't decide what to eat for dinner, we came across Corosh and decided to try it. The restaurant is cozy with a charming atmosphere. With started off with the calamari which was great. I had the linguini carbonara which was delicious and my husband had a salmon special which he loved. The sauce on the salmon brought together the entire entree, tying the fish and the vegetables together. Our server was friendly and attentive, and we never had to wait long for a refill. By the end of the meal we were both very content and very full, but our server highly recommended the homemade tiramisu, and since his other recommendations went over so well we took his advice and it was well worth it. We can't wait to return and try other items on the menu.

Worst food ever.. I dined at Corosh after having lived in the neighborhood for 2 years and walking by it many times. My wife and I had an early dinner and by all accounts it was the worst meal we have ever had at a so called "casual dining experience". I have eaten off of taco stands in Mexico and back road diners in the middle of nowhere, but this was the first time I was afraid of getting sick after I finished eating.

Now to the food. We had the risotto with portabella mushrooms, bell peppers, and shrimp, which is an interesting combination to begin with, but when it arrived it looked like a bowl of fried rice or jambalaya. Risotto is supposed to be creamy and rich, this was crunchy and dry and the shrimp were over cooked and the portabella were substituted for what looked and tasted like button mushrooms. We also had the steak special which was a filet mignon over sauteed spinach and a red wine-mustard reduction sauce. The beef was the most oddly shaped piece of meat ever and it was rare except for the dull grey outside, and the wine sauce tasted like grape juice syrup. I would have been fine with the meal, if I was being charged $5 for it, but when the bill was over $70 that was ridiculous.

This place might be good for a drink, but stay away from ANY of the Italian food.

We will not be returning.

Awesome Sunday Brunch. I highly recommend the brunch here on Sundays it is the best place to go. Not too crowded and the food is excellent. I love when they have the sweet potatoes and the chicken fajitas. The Banana Pancakes are by far the best in Chicago. Visit them you won't be sorry.

Casual Italian hangout in Wicker Park boasts good bar food, comfortable ambience and a spacious outdoor patio.. In Short
Grab a table or belly up to the long bar inside this laid-back dining room, where splashy wall art brightens up the low-lit space, or head downstairs to settle into a booth or play video games. Outside, a spacious, inviting brick patio is lined with long benches and marble-topped tables. The bar menu offers crispy calamari, buffalo chicken fingers and quesadillas. The main menu includes more substantial fare like pastas, chops and other Italian-inspired plates.
