We should go here more often.
Feast has been good to us ever since they were at their old location around the corner (long time ago). A good solid performer overall, and consistent. Been here about a dozen times. They always seem to find a place for you no matter how busy they are (unlike countless other similar places). The food is very good and isn't unreasonably expensive. The wine is great, they have a 3rd Wednesday of the month wine tasting -so you know they're paying attention. I love the location near the Cynthia Rowley boutique and all that Bucktown action. They have valet parking on weekends if you don't want to deal.

Consistenly Great Food.
I have lived in Bucktown for almost 4 years so we have lived about 3 blocks away from Feast. Unfortunately I only started going there this past year. Big mistake. Every time I have been to Feast the food has been consitently great! From the burger, to the chicken skewers to many more dishes then I can type here, we have never been disappointed. My only complaint is that the service, although quick, can be a bit impersonal, borderline unfriendly, however, what Feast may lack in service they make up for it in quality and consistency in food, after all, we don't always need to bond with our server to enjoy our meals thats what good company is for :)

I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO MY WORST ENEMY.
I went here with some friends and we had been told it's BYO. So we bring a few bottles. Some person answered their phone telling us "you'll be fine" when we inquired if the corking fee was per bottle or per table. When we got to the restaurant the waitress informed us it was indeed "per bottle". Party of 6, she did not pour a SINGLE glass for us, charged us $30 for uncorking 2 (one was a screw off top) and tacked on gratuity!!!!!! She did not apologize for whomever answered their phone telling us "OH YOU'LL BE FINE". The food was cold and the service was virtually non-exsistent. But the corking fee and gratuity was certainly something she saw to.

good value, great food.
Food here is phenomenal - breakfast, lunch or dinner. only downside is service is a little suspect but always friendly. Atmosphere is great - especially outside in summer. Some of the best food in all of wicker park / bucktown and maybe even chicago!

Overall, disappointing.
Considering I went to Feast on a recommendation, I must say I was very disappointed by my experience. It was very average food and I didn't feel like it was worth the amount of money that I paid for it. The crabcakes was the only good item I ate, but were a little on the cold side (felt like the crabcakes been pre-prepared and just microwaved before serving).

Great food, lousy service.
I have lived down the street from Feast for the past 2 years and finally tried it this past week. The reason why we had never gone in was because the food for dinner always looked a little too fancy and expensive for our taste. However, it was my friends bday so we went over for lunch. Lunch was still a little pricey but WELL worth it. I got the chicken sandwich and my friend got the greek salad, chicken skewer plate. Both were extremely yummy. I can't believe that I have lived so close and never gave feast a shot. My ONLY complaint was that the service was PAINFULLY slow. We waited 20 mins for the check before we decided to walk up to the front to find our server and pay. Good food, slow service, but worth checking out.

Poor customer service on 5/27 for Sunday brunch.
We received poor customer service for Sunday brunch on 5/27. Wait staff was very unattentive. After taking our order, they did not return to our table until it was time to deliver the bill.

Delicious in every way.
I had a meeting in the Wicker Park area and bumped into an old friend right across the street from Feast. After 10 minutes we walked in, last Friday night, and were greeted as if we were the super VIP's. I've never been a VIP but I'm sure that what it's like. We sat at the bar and had the best food and wine I've had since I left home (CA). Everyone is knowledgeable and friendly. Its a shame I don't get to Wicker Park more often. Highly Recommended!

SKIP THE BRUNCH.
I came here for brunch on a friend's suggestion, and it was easily the worst recommendation I have ever been given ever. The food here is absolute rubbish. Aside from our meals being cold (inexcusable), everything was just plain unappetizing. My "omelette" consisted of a sponge like disc, folded over top of cold and uncooked veggies. The list could go on: burnt english muffin, hard poached eggs, a staff that flat out neglected us (couldn't even get a coffee refill).
Yes, this place isn't known for breakfast, but just so you know, never even think of coming here. Needless to say, I won't be taking suggestions from Brent anymore.

Delish!.
In Chicago to celebrate teenage daughter's B-day and stopped here for lunch while shopping. Busy, Busy, Busy - so ate at the bar. No worries here. Had a great meal of Eggs Portifino (?), daughter had potato skins with eggs, friend had open face tuna melt. All were wonderful. Girls loved it so much, returned the next morning for breakfast on way out to airport. Pancakes to die for and perfect crispy bacon! Spicey Bloody Mary - YUM!
