In Short
On a strip crowded with chic, pricey eateries, Thai Village is most noteworthy for being easy on the wallet. The restaurant offers an unbeatable lunch special (daily 11am-3pm) that includes soup, an appetizer and a noodle or rice dish. Regulars stick to the pad thai, wild curry and eggplant and basil dishes, though more exotic entrees like whole-fried tilapia are tempting too.

We love this place for lunch! Which is funny bc this was the first place Id ever tried Thai Food and now it is the place that I compare all others to. Check it out you will enjoy.

Like a lot of little restaurants in CHicago, this place has no liquor license. Therefore, it's strictly BYOB. Meaning, bring your own booze. Aside from the minor inconvenience of that, this is a great little place. The food is soo god. It's not really in a convenient location for lunch unless you get to take 2 hour lunches or work very nearby but it's certainly worth a trip on your day off.
