Hipster hang out central. Hipsters are really bummed out - that being said - this place should cheer them up. I like Club Foot - the interior is neat and it has a lot of character. The people who go here should take anti depressants though, because they are really angry all the time.

One of the best bars in the world.. Contrary to some reviewers.. the staff here is the best in the city. If you don't put on airs, they treat you like a king. The crowd is mixed, but most people only notice the young ones cause the older ones look the same too.. alot of musician types, punks, scooterboys, etc. Everyone is friendly at the Foot. Drinks are average priced, but good tippers get STRONG pours on mixed drinks. And its not too loud to talk.

s'ok. I liked the old punk memorabilia (I wonder how many current patrons have any idea what Dreamerz was), and the DJ spins some cool stuff. Patrons are your average assortment of young rock scenesters, with varying degrees of attitude. Bartenders were generally friendly, drink prices are average for the area.

Stay for the PBR.. I would suggest Club Foot to a person who doesnt mind not talking to anybody because the music is too loud, and doesnt mind standing up all night because the small amount of places to sit are taken up by scenester kids who rode their 10-speeds to the bar. Club Foot is a very small bar normally filled with kids in their early twenties who are very excited just to be at a bar. No food that I know of, and average city priced drinks.

Go early if you want a space to lock up your bike.

People Watching.... Club Foot is a great place for people watching! In back by the pool tables is a raised platform that is a great seat for checking out the scenester crowd. Punks with charged mohawks, Rudeboys, Emo/Indie kids, Wannabe-Dominatrixes, Skins, Rockabillys-you name it. The pompadoured DJ was spinning classic new-wave, punk, and rockabilly AND they have cheap PBR! The young crowd wasn't very friendly (my boyfriend got the hairy eyeball by some rudeboys). That's okay, I wasn't there to make friends. I also got the feeling that most of the crowd were regulars to this corner bar.

A Ukrainian Village bar where pink-haired punks are welcomed with open, leather-jacketed arms.. The Scene
Neighborhood rockers have taken a shine to this secret hangout. Years ago, the space was the funkier, much-loved Lizard Lounge. Now Club Foot serves a cadre of art students, die-hard punks and semi-professionals. Obsessed with the Sex Pistols? You'll dig this corner bar's collection of punk paraphernalia and kitsch. Magazine shots of Johnny Rotten, a Who kerchief, Billy Beer cans, flyers for old-school Chicago band the Effigies and Teletubbies dolls are displayed like the museum pieces that they are.

The Draw
From an elevated booth, a tattooed DJ with rockabilly quiff spins selections of vintage sounds (Buzzcocks, Jam, Devo) and '90s indie (Superchunk, Teenage Fanclub), unless it's polka night. Belly up to the Dr. Who pinball machine, wait your turn at the pool table, or screen flicks such as "Decline of Western Civilization" on various TVs. A good selection of beer in bottles is available at the bar.

Maximum Age 25. I hadnt been to Club foot in about seven years, and overall its not that the crowd changed, I did, just got older. The staff, in general are rude, the patrons are what most people on 25 are....so if you are older than 25, expect to be sneared at.
