Neighborhood Pubbing at its Best

Gio's has all the best a neighborhood bar can offer; if it isn't the polite, courteous staff its the interesting mix of patrons. For a different side of things, try out Saturday night's Karaoke...or just come heckle the singers like everyone else.
All in all, Gio's is my pub; and will be for a long time to come.

Gio's is a decent little Sportsbar. I've been there several times. The owners, Gio and his sons, are good guys and make an effort to ensure customers are happy. It's a mix of local crowd and newcomers. They host pool and dart tournaments, and have a few game machines. The food is a selection of excellent tasting mexican dishes. Specials are posted out front on Damen. I recommend this over other sportsbars if you're in the Ravenswood or Lincoln Sqare area.
