“The staff is helpful, knowledgable and they do such a great job with gift wrap!”

A great old school toy shop full of gifts for all the kids. Plus, they have octopus plushies! Something that I haven't found in any other toys store in Chicago.

Old-Fashioned independent toy store in Lincoln Square. Everything from board games to childrens books, with an emphasis on toys you can PLAY with, not electronic junk.

If you can't find a cool toy here, you're clearly not looking! Games galore share the jam-packed shelves with puzzles, trinkets, & other goodies. Weekends get crazy, so plan your trip on a weekday.
Love this place. I go every year to shop for my niece and nephews' Christmas presents.
I love this place!. I love this store. I'm so tired of all the electronics and cartoon and tv driven toys!! Timeless toys really allows you to let a child express their imagination. I just bought my niece and nephews magnifying glasses and bug guides and they had a blast bug hunting! I"ve bought so many toys their now and the kids are always excited because it 's going to be different and not something they've seen on tv. The staff is helpful, knowledgable and they do such a great job with gift wrap!! I look forward to being able to buy "the fun cool" stuff at Timeless. Keep up the good work!!
The young and young at heart skip a beat over old-fashioned fire trucks, Brio train sets and kitschy kites..
The Scene
Whether you have kids or not, a trip to this Lincoln Square toy store will be a blast to the past. Every inch of Timeless Toys is a play-date paradise. The friendly, fun-loving staff doesn't mind if you toy around with the fabulous selection of sock puppets and goofy gag gifts, and they'll gladly help you find the perfect puzzle.
The Goods
Wood pull toys, baby dolls and stuffed animals galore fill shelves and display tables. Card-trick sets, blocks like you had back in the day and Radio Flyer trikes recall the wonder years. Upping the educational ante are do-it-yourself kits (stained glass, candle-making), books like "Corduroy" and "Where the Wild Things Are," and Dr. Seuss learning games. Kiddie costumes, a rocking dragon and loads of Harry Potter paraphernalia ensure endless hours of TV-free entertainment.
