Steer clear from the Pho and Noodles.

I had what can only be described as an utterly terrifying experience with eating the Pho here. I also agree with the previous review that the noodles here are NOT subject to the cold water blanching process and come out very much resembling a sticky doughy unappatizing mass. I was also very much turned off by the nasty pan fried shrimp. These guys seriously need to stick to Malaysian cuisine and not try to represent the compelete asian culinary experience because they fail miserably in doing so.

Great Msian Restaurant in chicago suburb

The food and service are great. Plus the price is excellent!! thumbs up for all the Msian items they had. Rojak buah, nasi lemak, nasi ayam (hainanese) and char kue teow are much better tcompared to PENANG. Roti canai is better at Penang but Asian Noodle is not bad either. Also try the cendol...the taste and environment felt like home. If u r msian, the boss will say "terima kasih" when u leave..Enjoy!!!
- Pros: great service n quality, near to Valli's grocery n other shopping areas, near to suburb areas
- Cons: No liquor/wine/ beer served and the ambience is simple, does not suit business lunch,far from chicago downtown

avoid order for pick up

I'm compelled to write this after one of the worst experience I've been through. I placed an order via phone call today and was told it will take 10 mins. I was in a rush so this is good news. However when I showed up 20 mins later, the food is not ready yet due to miscommunication between the waiters. No one even said sorry to me and they just talked to each others. Since I couldn't wait, I told the waiter that I will be back for the pick up later. When I was back 30 mins later, I couldn't believe it when the food was still not ready. And here is the insulting part...I was told, "I thought you do not want the food since you walked out earlier". I simply told him that "I said I will be back just now" and this time I really walked out and I will never return again. (I would have expected the manager to call since they have my numbers when I placed the order and apologized after what I went through, which was a complete waste of my time, but no call whatsoever). So as I said, if you want to try the food, you might want to try your luck with eat in (again, with how I was treated, I doubt the service is going to be the greatest), you might be wasting your time if you try to order a pick up.
