This is the place for great Pizza. If your looking for a one of a kind Pizza that will have you craving to come back for more Palermos is the place. I grew up near the resturaunt and had many other pizza places to go but Palermos has my heart and will yours too. Great sweet spicey sauce, excellent crust,great cheese, sausage to die for. Nothing lacks in greatness here. This is the best the South Side has for Pizza 2nd to none. They have maintained their same quality since I started going there in 1977.Great friendly service. Great atmosphere. I drive over an hour and a half now to get their pizza but its worth it for great Pie. Bon Appitite. having said that i will now get in my car and drive to the city and get one.

GREAT FOOD, GREAT SERVICE & A GREAT TIME ! ! ! ! !. I have been eating at Palermos since i was 5. The food is amzing and it's unique. The sauce is one of a kind. A blend of fresh herbs and natural spices. My father used to take me there when i was a youngster. Now, almost a decade and a half later, my girlfriend and I are still going there. But, one thing remains the same, the food is great! Service seems to be top notch in my opinion. The owner may even sit down and have a conversation with you if you wish. It is a perfect place to enjoy great food and fun italian tradition. Don't be a stoonat, try Palermo's pizza and you will not be dissapointed. Now that's a spicy meat-a-ball!!!!!

great pizza bad service. I have been eating at this location for years. The pizza and food are GREAT!!! Sad to say it but the service is pooooooor!!! I ordered food and it did not arrive until 1 1/2 hours later. When I called the girls (the same girls that always answer the phone) were rude and unprofessional. How can you enjoy food when its cold and the persons working there seem miserable. I suggest pick-up and dine-in ONLYYYYY!

Top Notch. Far and away THE BEST stuffed pizza I have ever had. NOTHING even comes close. Cheese sticks are unreal (different sauce for dining in and out) though the takeout sauce is not as good as when dining there.

Hot Air. Lets face it, this is all alot of hot air!

Everyone knows what pizza is the best, just look at past SunTimes or Chicago Tribune atricles. Is there really such thing as gourmet pizza anyhow? Time to get a recertification, mr gourmet. Do your homework, this place makes everything from scratch (the oldfashion way). Bland my .... Its real authentic Southern Italian Cooking. That is where the owners lived at one time. I think they know how to cook Southern Italian dishes.
