The Venue – The Copernicus Center's main attraction is the 2,045-seat Gateway Theater which presents bilingual plays and performances throughout the year. Kids, in particular, love the starry sky that appears as the lights go down in the theater, which is the last of the gorgeous movie palaces built by architects Rapp & Rapp, who also designed the Cadillac Palace and Oriental, which operated as movie theaters before they became live theater venues.
