The tamales are fantastic, moist, and flavorful. The mole is traditional and rich. 15 yrs later:A great mexican restaurant!. Don Juan's menu has been an evolutionary process of refinement. When I was younger, the dishes were standard mexican fare. However, don't misinterpret this to mean ordinary quality! Their homemade salsa, carne asada, or enchiladas mole compares to anyone.
