probably the best in Chicago. Excellent! probably the best slcie of cheesecake you can get in the whole of Chicago, Eli's has never ever failed me in the past, and each time i go its a real treat.

Best Cheesecake in Chicago?.
Eli's may be the best cheesecake in Chicago, but it is never quite as good as I imagine.
Perhaps it is a personal preference, but I like the Italian ricotta or mascarpone cheesecakes and German quark cheesecakes better than American cream cheese types.
I do have to hand it to Eli's though, they have some great flavors and really interact with their customers. The factory tour is so much fun and great for kids. If Olympic figure-skating champion and Dancing with the Stars runner-up Evan Lysacek loves Eli's....what's not to love, right?

Hi, Amber, we appreciate your great comments! Our fans seem to enjoy our cakes made with cream cheese but we do make a special cheesecake with hand-dipped ricotta and fresh goat cheese - we call it our "Fresh Cheese" cheesecake. Let us know if you'd like to try a taste!

CHEESECAKE KING!!!!. I love Eli's!!! Their cheesecake is so smooth, flavorful, filling, yummy to the tummy, good!! The original cheesecake is my favorite but if you had a touch of strawberry syrup on top or chocolate, it will make you feel like you're in heaven.
