my experience. i’m not a big reviewer, but i think credit should be given where its due. dealing with wickman properties has been a true pleasure. don and his secretary, pat, are just quality people. i would recommend them, but, last I heard, they were full (as with this review, what goes around comes around).
Good now. I’d give them 5 stars if it wasn’t for my previous neighbor….. I lease an office space that use to be a storage closet in the lower level of one of their buildings. It’s perfect for what I do, but directly across the hall were the loudest talkers I’d ever heard (they were nice, but LOOOUD!). It wouldn’t have been a big deal if they kept their door closed!..... I know Don talked to them a few times, but they’d eventually revert back to being loud with the door open…... Now they’re gone, my new neighbor has common sense, and I can hear a pin drop….. Yaaaaaaay!
Value and then some.. We moved into a Wickman Properties building relatively recently. Our experience has been consistent with the other reviews. Not much else to say… We got a good deal on a nice space with an owner that genuinely cares about the tenant.
Quality and Economical. I have a small business, and even though Wickman Properties seemed like a big business, with much larger tenants than myself, they treated me as if I was a large tenant (they were, and continue to be, fair, fast, and responsive).
Very Good All Around. Other reviews are dead on. I've only had 1 issue since 03' (a high electrical bill). Once I got the bill that was about $100 more than it should have been, I called Don (owner), and he asked me to fax it to him. The next bill was accurate, and it had a credit for 88 bucks!
To anyone looking to lease office space in the "Tri-Cities" (Batavia, Geneva, St. Charles).... I had heard great things about Wickman Properties wherever I went, so when I needed office space, they were the first people I called (I called others to make absolutely sure I was getting a good deal, but that only validated the good deal). I really liked how Wickman Properties consisted of only 3 people (the owner, Don Wickman, his son, Eric Wickman, and their secretary, Pat). There were no games, just fair and honest discussions. I also liked how Don and Eric not only gave me their cell phone numbers, but encouraged me to call their cell phones for fast responses to my many questions. @+
Satisfied Customer. The other review on here for Wickman Properties is certainly accurate. Don Wickman?s operation is the exception to the thinking that most good deals have a catch. When I was researching spaces in Geneva and St. Charles 3 years ago, I was understandably skeptical of how Don could give me high end office space at rents lower than everyone else, AND still include a nice build out. Since then I have come to the conclusion that Don keeps a low overhead and uses his many buildings to make low profit margins work. Besides giving great deals, Don is fair. When I needed to expand my office space in the middle of my lease, Don had no problem moving me into a larger space at another one of his many buildings. I strongly recommend Wickman Properties to anyone needing office space in the St. Charles or Geneva area.
Perfect!!!. I have been a tenant of Don's (owner of Wickman Properties) for over 12 years now, and I had 2.5 landlords before that (the ".5" was only because one of the landlords only did half his job). Don is by far the best. He takes care of all my needs personally and fast. My office space is perfect (also built by Don), and it's at a price to good to be true. Thanks Don!!! Will
