This is somewhat to 'someguyinchicago' - The great thing about Byron's Hot Dogs is that you can get whatever you want on your dog. If you don't want lettuce, someguyinchicago, then don't get it. They give the customer what he/she wants not what is generally expected. The same goes for everything else on the menu. It's all 'custom' made for you. I just found out that they opened another place on Madison in Forest Park. Way to go, Byron's!

A Chicago-style hot dog does not have lettuce on it. If you have a taste for a proper dog, Byron's is not the place to go.
