Honestly, you can't go wrong w/ anything. If it's your first time, you MUST have the duck. Grab the duck dinner if you have more than 3. I love the beef w/ Chinese broccoli on pan fried noodles.

Best Chinese BBQ. Surprisingly, the best Chinese BBQ in Chicago I had was here, not in Chinatown. I've had Peking Duck in Beijing, and this was the closest I've had to it back in Chicago. There was also a great beer selection at good prices to wash it down. For something a little different, go with the eggplant.

The main downside was that service was a bit slow. Especially on a busy night, expect to have to waive your server down. They're not likely to stop by too many times on their own.

Best Duck in Chicago!. Every time I go there, I gorge myself. The food is excellent authetic Chinese and they give you large portions. The place is an eyesore, but you forget about it since the food is sooo good and service is outstanding. This is a good place for groups. One of my favorites, especially when I have a taste for duck.

Cantonese barbecue comes in many forms at this minimalist storefront restaurant.. In Short
Hanging poultry and pigs announce this Argyle Street spot, little more than a narrow counter overlooking an exposed kitchen. Secondary glass doors open into a simple eating area with folding tables on checkered tile floors. The extensive menu features noodle and rice dishes topped or stir fried with meats, seafood, or vegetables, but the focus here is the barbecue. Lacquer-skinned duck is the specialty, but glistening, honeyed pork ribs and loins are just as popular.

Yummy and cheap. Sun Wah is just great, cheap, authentic Chinese, as opposed to Chinese-American, food. I had a whole crab with a delicious sauce for about 10 or 11 bucks. We also had really flavorful noodles with vegetables - a "small" portion that could feed a two or three people was about $6. It isn't much to look at but the food is excellent and it's a great place to try new things.

Bad Bar-B-Q. I went there for the first and last time 12/2/02. I ordered Bar-B-Q Pork over Fried rice for take out. The rice was terrible and the pork was cold and had no taste. I knew I was in trouble when they wanted to charge me .25 cents for soy sauce. The place does look good from the outside and that made me stop and check it out.
