Indulge yourself with little pleasures..
The Scene
Aptly named this corner store in Andersonville filled with pampering products for the body and home; the store greets shoppers with a clean, soapy fragrance. Sunlight pours through the large front windows, and the walls are lined with stocked shelves. You'll need a couple of trips around to take everything in.
The Goods
Owner Robert Lang describes Surrender as a "contemporary urban general store." Splurgeworthy items for your body include soaps for every mood in every color, scent and size (about $2-$16). You'll also find body lotions, shower gels and shampoo. Aura Essence aromatherapy candles contain eight percent essential oils, while hand-painted taper candles from South Africa make unique gifts. Amid the sweet scents are savory gourmet foods--chips, salsas, bread-dipping oils, mustards, spices, salad dressings and more. There are also interior decorating accessories like vases, lamps, pillows, clocks and arty pieces.
great little place.... This place is very charming. It's small, but there's so much stuff your head will spin. I love the selection of bath products. And candles....everywhere. This is a perfect place to pick up a gift - the hard part is deciding what to get because the selection is big. They will wrap it up beautifully for you. The best part - it's in my neighborhood of Andersonville.
