In Short
The Neo-Futurarium is a 149-seat space that puts the mostly Gen-X audience in several rows of compactly seated risers and the actors on the floor. Look also for solo pieces and other full-length shows performed throughout the year. In "Too Much Light Makes the Baby Go Blind," actors attempt to run through the paces of 30 skit-length plays based on suggestions yelled out by audience members in 60 minutes.

What's not to like? These comedians know their stuff! The material is always fresh, current, and creative. The price is right, the atmosphere is fun, and if the show sells out, they order pizza for the crowd. But get there early because the line starts forming long before the show starts.

This place is worth a night of your time if only for the subculture of it all--kinda like Rocky Horror for the mopey theatrical set. Neat to see them put on 30 plays in 60 minutes, roll the die to find out how much you pay, stand in line to get in...it's all part of the experience.
