Editorial Review for Cork & Kerry – by Jennifer Olvera
The Scene
Regular folks settle into high-backed chairs at this woody, memorabilia-laden space. Stained-glass windows set a moody, almost upscale tone, while entertaining artifacts, ranging from early Soldier Field relics to outdated matchbooks, spark conversation among bar newbies and boisterous regulars. Outdoors, a multilevel beer garden decked with flowers and antique odds-and-ends makes revelers all but forget Cork & Kerry's bustling surroundings when the weather is nice.
The Draw
Loads of brew selections, including 20 taps and at least as many bottles, cater to the "won't be caught without a beer in hand" crowd. Chatty professionals wind down the workweek with whiskey served neat and Black and Tans, while summertime sippers have been known to get soused on hard lemonade and Stoli Razberi pints. Diverse, inviting tunes take a back seat to the popular popcorn machine with free-for-the-taking munchies.

I'Ve been going to Cork & Kerry for awhile and I always have a good time. Until I went to a publisity night with Miller Beer. One of the guys who worked for Miller I think his name was Scott and boy does he make promises that if I showed him my chest he would give me prizes. I was so insulted that going to a neighborhood bar and this happens I will not be going back there again!!!!
