Overview – Even off-peak, this 36-lane alley transcends many, with state-of-the-art playing areas and high-tech waiting list (a machine snaps pictures of waiting patrons for display when lanes become available). But its claim to fame is the party-inspiring spectacle staged most evenings: Huge speakers pump out pop music, smoke machines puff and colored lights give everything a rainbow glow. The bowling-alley-as-nightclub approach draws loads of Lincoln Parkers on weekends, though the spot's crowd generally reflects Logan Square's diverse demographics. – – The Experience…
Worst Bowling Alley Every
by bellshell at Citysearch
Diversey Bowl has to be one of the worst bowling alleys in all of Chicago land. Most of staff thinks that they are all high-and-mighty; I have met some of them that are nice and polite. The owners are the worst. I only been there a few times, but each time, it never fails that the owners are yelling at a customer for no reason. One time by mistake a bunch of us went in, during a league night (not knowing) and got yelled at for it, since they had no lanes opened, and how stupid we were for showing up. I even talked to people (at the bar) that have bowled there for years, and they complain about the management. Never have been to a place that was poorly ran like Diversey Bowl.
- Pros: Some of the staff in nice
- Cons: You either will see or get yelled at by management

Let me tell you this... it does not have Ten Pin Lounge decor, but who gives a sh*t. You are putting on clown shoes and looking to blast some pins. The staff was accomodating and the drinks were strong. We ordered up some greasy appetizers and played a few games and it was $20 a person for a night out to bowl. Drinks are priced moderately and we drank a ton of em. Good time... relaxed place and I was serving up Turkeys all night.

Diversy Bowl is by far the best in the city. All the people are great and the atmoshpere is as good as a bowling alley can get.
