User Reviews for Urban Veterinary Care

5 Star Rating: Highly Recommended

I adopted my German Shepherd just over a year ago. I found Urban Vet Care through this website and they have been nothing but fantastic. My dog is very dog aggressive, so they know that when Kira is coming she needs to get into a room right away. Kira also has a tendency of getting into mischief (most recently eating a pack of gum out of my purse); every time I call the vet they take the time to find out the problem and address it accordingly. I would trust this clinic with my own care, let alone my dog's. Yes, they are a bit on the pricey end, but that is what you get for good service and a caring touch. If you don't like it, pay the 5 bucks and get your vaccines at the Petco. Top Notch!

Pros: Great service & attention to detail

Cons: Maybe a bit pricey

Hello, I agree that staff in Urban Veterinary Care is extremely friendly, warm and seems to really care about your pets. However, they are very pricy. I have two kittens and for their booster, rabies shots, and some additional tests, that they claimed were necessary, I’d spent at least 90$ - 190$, each visit, for 4 months (for 1 cat) in a row (he was perfectly healthy too). And finally my kittens neutering procedure… after he spent there all day, from 8 a.m. till 7 p.m., they sent us to the ER, because he was bleeding… Now I know that it’s not necessary their fault, whatever went wrong there, yet it was a very intense and extremely painful experience for us and our kitten, not to mention the cost, which was over $1000.00… and I’m not going back there with my other kitten.. Especially, when there are lots of great, caring LOW COST clinics around. You can find a link in P.A.W.S website, and find one close to your home. I did a lot of research and asked people around, and came to a conclusion: more expensive does not mean better care! So my friendly advice to you: Save yourself money for shots/neutering/spaying/chip procedures, instead - invest more in your pets healthy diet, and that will help to stay away from the vet  Kind regards, Gintare

Pros: friendly

Cons: try to get as much money out of you as possible
