I Love This Place!. Love this place. Great food. Fast delivery. If you are looking for a fancy place for dinner - this is not it. Located in the heart of "Boys Town" - stop by for great food - fast!

Good food, cruddy atmosphere. Too bad boy's town doesn't have a fun Chineese place to go.

Mark's food is pretty good, but it has the atmosphere of a bus station. Harsh flourescent lighting, staticy radio playing 80's tunes in the background, waitresses in sweat suits and sneakers - just all wrong.

They could do a killer business if they zinged up their image.

Best Chinese Food Value in the Midwest. Consistently great Chinese food, dine-in or carry-out. The crab rangoon is especially good, as are the soups. Wide variety of entrees (try anything beef). Welcoming staff and quick service. Formerly the best kept secret for cheap eats in Boystown.

Yuck!. I was really looking forward to having a good take out dinner. The food from Mark's Chop Suey wasn't just disappointing, it was gross. The Sesame Chicken was really bad and the crab rangoon too. Keep looking for another take out place if you'd like to enjoy your dinner.

Love the chicken fried rice. I've been ordering from Mark's for more than 10 years, back in the days where they had 2 locations (one on Broadway). The chicken fried rice, chicken egg foo yung and eggrolls are fantastic. Not crazy about the potstickers but nothing else has ever disappointed. Having had them deliver probably at least a 70-80 times over the years, they've probably only screwed up my order once and were extremely apologetic and made up for it. If you just want some good old fashioned chinese food delivered fast, hot and not that expensive, I'd strongly recommend Mark's.

User review by beekie. Ive been ordering from Marks for nearly ten years now. The food is incredible, delivery times are quick, and the wait staff is friendly, even though their English is not the best. However, I would like to mention that because of the location (being in close to Wrigley Field), there isnt any parking, but thats okay, because the ambiance at the restaurant isnt exactly the best. I only ate at the restaurant once, and while the food was as good as it always is, I decided that I wouldnt exactly want to eat at the restaurant again. Id much rather rely on their wonderful delivery service, which makes it convenient as well. Id recommend the fried rice and the Mongolian beef. Dont let the negatives of this restaurant fool you; it really is a terrific place! I think Im going to order from there tonight!

Boys Town couples nosh on casual Chinese fare at this spot on the north Halsted strip.. In Short
Framed signs of the Chinese zodiac hang on sea foam-green walls, and soft light gives the carpeted, comfortable room a warm glow. The dining room is hushed, but the separate carryout counter buzzes with business from young neighborhood professionals. The straightforward menu features starters like veggie spring rolls and steamed pot stickers; entrees include cashew chicken, Szechuan pork, fried rice, Mongolian beef and Emperor's chicken.

Carry out.... Mark's is my favorite place for Chinese carry out or delivery. The food is always tasty and arrives quickly. The dining room isn't very attractive, but it's a great place to people watch. My only issue with Mark's is the not-so-tasty crab rangoons.
