Sit back and enjoy the game at a sports bar that doesn't require earplugs..
The Scene
Though definitely a sports bar, Redmond's fortunately doesn't feel the need to pummel you into submission a la ESPN Zone. The front room, where the serious fans hang out, has one giant-screen over the bar and smaller TVs hanging from the ceilings. Quieter folk looking for cushier seats and food--the bar has a good-sized menu and serves up a mean, charbroiled burger--should try the back room. With its roomy booths and autumnal decor, it's a relaxing place to watch a Bears or Cubs game. There's plenty of beers on tap, from Labatt's and Hamm's to Guinness and Summit India Pale.
The Crowd
The design is more upscale than your average sports bar, perfect for a younger, more relaxed type of fan than crams the sardine-packed beer halls near Wrigley. NFL Sunday afternoons are best.
