Ive heard people say they are big fans of Shiroi Hana, but I cant say that I am myself. The decor is less than stellar and their rolls always seem to be too warm and basic. With better, cheaper options in the area, I dont think I'll be giving them a 4th chance to impress me

The quality of the food here is great and I went there twice. I was seated promptly, the server was this very over energetic Japanese man who always was smiling and friendly. Great guy. But the food was served sort of fast. I mean that the my group did not have enough time to finish the edamame and soups before the entree was served. Still, great food quality.

After 5 years of happy dining at Shiroi Hana, I was very disappointed in my experience since the prices increased and menus changed. Usually, I get the sushi for two and sashimi appetizer or the sushi/sashimi combination. Today, when treating a friend to dinner, we tried some different things. The prices were higher and the portions were much smaller than pictured in the menu. The Kani Su appetizer came and there was ONE shelled leg's worth of crab meat, not the 8 pictured for $7.50. It was embarrassing. We were going to share, but there just was not enough. The Salmon-Don came and it was long, skinny strips of salmon enough to make about 6 pieces of sushi, not the 8 large, thick slices I used to get (like in the photo) for $16.00! "Hey Sushi" made a more plentiful entree- and they skimp!! Shiroi Hana should be ashamed of treating customers as if they are blind or stupid. I felt taken advantage of and I was not about to make a complaint in front of my guest; I SHOULD NOT *HAVE* TO! I will say that today was the last time I intend to go to Shiroi Hana. There are many other options for sushi & sashimi in this city; Shiroi Hana was the most reasonable. I'm sorry to see that has changed.
