NOW that is a Margarita. First of all Im a Texas gal.Lived in Chicago burbs for 10 years now.Always looking for a Great margarita and GOOD Mexican Food. Im finally writing a review. After a Cubby game or after sightseeing with friends. This is the place I always take them for a great dinner .

Pitcher of Regular Margaritas... and Nachos

is always a great start.

The chihuahua cheese melted allover the nachos. Yummy with the tomatoe sauce melting on your lips.

Sure you can have the reglular mexican food. But they have such a good variety of Veggie dishes too. Which is fresh and plentiful dishes.

You should try the seafood dishes. My favorite Camarones a La Veracruzana 7 succulent jumbo butterflied shrimp simmered with tomato onion capers olives jalapenos and herbs. The capers burst in your mouth the shrimp swimming

around in all the flavors.teasing your tongue forthe next bite. A most to try.

If your a fan of MOLE.. the Chicken MOLE.almost as good as my sisters. (have to say that in case she reads this)

The flavors of choclate mole the taste of peanuts too simmered into the chicken.with warm tortillias.YUMMY!

Now back to another margarita.

Making myself hungry ,just thinking about the dishes. I have tried over the years.

I have always had Great service , Always a plus if you sit by the window too.

Well Cheers to y'all

Now for another pitcher and enjoy people watch.

Denise

Excellent, but potent margaritas!. Over the years, the food has gotten better & the fajitas are better than most mexican places in town. However, the real reason you should go is for the Margarita's- on the rocks of course! They're strong, not too sweet and you should use caution when throwing a few back. This is a great place to go with a group of friends on a Sunday- winter or summer. When it's warm enough outside, ask for a table in the patio. No, it's not Frontera Grill or Cuatro- but then they're not trying to be either.

User review by chadozzchgo. Although everyone seems to go there, the food is poor, the service is poor, the prices are 3 times of what they should be, it's loud, you'll leave smelling like a greese ball and the entire place is PINK

Lakeview residents craving Mexican food gather indoors and out at this festive, laid-back eatery.. In Short
The crowd at "Las Mas" is a casual, Wrigleyville-meets-Boys Town mix who fill the large dining room during cooler months, and spill out onto the patio in summer. The menu features standards served with refried beans and rice. Popular combinations include the Zapata with carne asada, a cheese burrito and a chicken enchilada. The seafood favorite is camarones al ajillo, simply prepared butterflied shrimp grilled with an olive oil and garlic marinade.

The Best Margaritas. They have the best margaritas in Chicago! food can be good or o.k.-the puerco in chilmole is excellent though. chips tend to not be too fresh often. good service and great atmosphere.
