In Short
Welcoming and warm, this family-owned sandwich shop is a Lakeview staple. Sunny golden walls, lace curtains and Mexican arts and crafts give the compact space a comfortable, homey feel. Patrons line up--sometimes out the door--for toasted sandwiches, salads, appetizers and pizzas. Generously sized pasta dishes include baked mac and cheese and spicy penne. Homemade cookies and pastries are available for dessert.

Great place to pop into if you live in the nieghborhood for good salads, interesting sandwiches on excelellent bread, and great desserts (bakery style). Prepare to wait awhile as they prepare your order (I pick up one of the magazines in their shelf), but it's worth it in the end.

I have been here many, many times and everything is so good for a great price. How can you go wrong with amazing food: Sunday breakfast french toast, any sandwiches, the o so yummy monster cookie to fresh, soft loafs of bread. I love bringing out of towners here to get a taste of great neighborhood food!

Sandwiches are fresh and delicious. Less expensive than both Subway and Potbellys and you get more food that is even better than either.
