The Scene
The neo-deco style and bar stools say "diner," but the food is far from anything you'd find at a greasy spoon. Robin's-egg blue tables, chipper staff and cruelty-free food all make for a sunny-side-up demeanor. The young to middle-aged patrons even look healthier than your average Joe.
The Food
Seitan (a wheat-based meat substitute) is the star here, featured in most of the entrees and sandwiches. A Southwestern/Spanish accent shows up in tostadas and the popular "No Meata Fajita." The veggie chili combines spices that melt together in aromatic bliss--you'll never miss the meat. The Reuben is also a favorite, made with seitan on dark rye with onions, peppers, sauerkraut and Swiss or soy cheese. Vegan baked goods are a specialty and include biscuits and gravy for brunch, plus muffins, bread and health bars. Accompany your meal with organically grown, fresh-squeezed orange or carrot juice.

We just ate there yesterday and our brains began hemorrhaging when we saw how much food we had to choose from! We ended up getting the nachos with black beans, vegan cheeze and veggie chorizo. They were some of the best nachos I've ever had! My wife got the American sliders (three different burgers) and loved it. I got the Dagwood and OMG!! So amazing. The only thing that could have been improved was the service. I think our server was the only one serving tables though there was a host and another worker helping out (minimally). And we had two little kids, so waiting a long time isn't allows a good thing. He also forgot to bring us a few things. Anyways, it was SO worth it. I can't wait to go back. Maybe this weekend for Father's Day!

This place is amazing. Their food is so good. You can get your food just how you like it. No matter if you want veggie, vegan, or what...you will get it. I ordered the all vegetarian and vegan sweet potato quesadilla and it was amazing. Then for dessert we all shared a vegan peanut butter shake and that was amazing. This is a must have place. The prices are great too. Fun atmosphere!

This is a great place to dine for casual vegan/vegetarian food. The have some fantastic organic red wines which go well with any one of their deserts. The evening gets a little busy especially on the weekends and you can expect a 10-15 minute wait for a table but once you sit down it's all worth it. Best vegan cheesecake ever!
