Worst restaurant experience ever. This was the worst experience I have ever had at a restaurant. It took 3 hours to get through our meal, multiple requests for water, tortillas , etc were never fulfilled (or it took multiple requests), the pitchers of margueritas were so full of ice you didn't even get any margueritas, and when you complained, they insulted you. After many years of going here, I dont know if they had a change of mangement or what but i would never recommend going back there, ever....

Terrible service!. We ordered fajitas to split between us... 1 hour and 15 minutes later, still no fajitas. We sat with empty drinks the whole time. When we went to inquire about the food (multiple times) they kept saying, "it's coming right up." An hour and a half later, we left money for our drinks and went to Taco Bell. I WILL NOT go back.

Colorful, casual neighborhood Mexican spot scores with a lively Southport crowd.. The Scene
Strings of lights twinkle outside this homey, two-story building, signaling the way for hungry Lakeview residents in search of strong margaritas and good, casual Mexican food. The dining rooms are spacious and colorful, with sunny yellow walls, red tablecloths, lively Mexican music and smiling service. In the warmer months, the front patio is the place to be.

The Food
Expect fresh, better-than-average Mexican food. Guacamole is downright delicious, dolloped generously onto a leaf of iceberg lettuce and served with thick, crunchy chips. Queso fundido is good and greasy with or without chorizo, served with plenty of tortillas for wrapping. Most dishes are light on spice; turn up the heat with zippy cheese-stuffed jalapeno peppers or enchiladas verde with tomatillo sauce. Tacos are pretty standard--skip 'em and try the enchiladas mole, hearty with chicken and cheese and kissed with a rich, dark, chocolatey sauce.
