In Short – The crowd at this Wrigleyville hang changes dramatically from night to night. During Cub games, the wraparound bar gets packed with baseball fans; on "off nights," cops from the precinct down the block grab dinner alongside fresh-scrubbed young locals drinking brews. The menu includes chicken fingers, calamari and signature oversized sandwiches like the steak-filled Luigi and chicken Vesuvio Melt.

Great Atmosphere, Fun Staff, and Delicious Martinis!

I have been visiting Bar Louie restaurants for years and the Wrigleyville location is by far my favorite. The bartender was conversational without being intrusive, funny, and charismatic. The food is also delicious, specifically their Luigi and Vesuvio melts. Pure heaven! They have a trivia night on Wednesdays that is a blast to go to with a group of friends as well as solid drink specials. I am partial to their specialty martinis such as the Straberry Fizzler. Overall, I have never had a problem here, and I recommend it to anyone looking for a fun bar that is not overdone nor full of obnoxious college students.

Second-Hand Food

This place actually had the nerve to serve us re-heated food that another patron returned, and they admitted it after we heard them talking about it. I've never had such attitude from the people working at any place in my life. There are a lot better restaurants with a lot friendlier people then this hole. RUN AWAY...RUN AWAY!!
