“Great Local joint to get a beer, watch the game and party with friends.”
“The music is awesome, the staff is amazing!”

The Closet can be a scary place, only in the sense that it's dark and dingy. Don't go alone, prepare to be hit on, but do revel in this Boystown hotspot.
A friendly video-bar hangout that attracts boys and girls of all persuasions..
The Scene
"The Shoebox" would be a more appropriate name for this small, long space with a U-shaped bar. And boy, does it get crowded--especially around 2am, when party-people from closing time at other bars migrate here. The clientele is predominantly lesbian, lipstick and otherwise, though gay men and straight couples are not the least bit uncommon or uncomfortable.
The Draw
Enrique Iglesias, Cher, Britney Spears ... back-to-back danceable music videos play in the wee hours, prompting patrons to boogie down on what may be Chicago's smallest dance floor. Earlier in the night, the bar is a great place for hanging with friends for a beer. The Closet's Bloody Mary is a spicy, tangy treat that comes complete with beer chaser--perfect for a Sunday afternoon hangover.
Great Bar. Newer in town. Everyone told me there was no where for women. This place rocks!!! Cool girls, cool guys, all my friends together. The music is awesome, the staff is amazing!!! Great place to begin and end your night!!! "10"
Local Is the Word. Great Local joint to get a beer, watch the game and party with friends. No real drama here
mean bartenders. I always liked the crowd here, but, never really understood why the bartenders were so standoffish and/or rude. My advice? Stay away from the bar and make your friend (s) bring you drinks.
