“one of my favorite vintage stores”
“Been in there several times, rude customer service.”
“Which if you are short on time is a huge help.”
Amazing vintage dresses!. I've bought 3 formal vintage dresses from Wacky Cats. The store has a lot of variety but mainly specializes in the 50's era. Each time I've been here, Karen (the owner) always helps me in choosing the perfect dress. She's very knowledgeable in her decades of fashion and alterations. Wacky Cats also carries jewelry, 'novelty' t shirts and Men's vintage clothes.
A Great Vintage Find!. I adore this shop!! If you really love vintage clothing especially 50's dresses and hand bags this is the shop for you. This girl knows vintage clothing like the back of her hand. the owner is quite knowledgeable about her era's and how the dresses should fit. She can round up any and all dresses that are in your size range in a flash kind of like a personal shopper. Which if you are short on time is a huge help. The men's selection is weak but they do also carry re pros for both the guys & girls. Not the cheapest vintage shop in town but the clothing is clean and ready to wear that day!
Ew..
Dark, dingy, and just gross.
Sure theres a few decent things here and there, but in general....not the kind of place you wanna spend more than 15 minutes in.
Yellow Jacket down the street is amazing and much more 'fashionable'
Hip cats purr for this shop's vintage-clothing collection..
The Scene
Greeting you at the entrance--and doing justice to the name--is a windowful of wackily dressed mannequins, boas in various colors, and an assortment of candles with off-center illustrations and labels, like "Coffin for Cutie," "Nautipuss" and "Madwoman." The eccentric quality follows you into the dimly lit shop, which bursts at its seams with predominantly '50s-era treasures.
The Goods
You can tell by the faded labels that the "costumes" here are truly authentic. Your grandfather could have worn the brown knit bowling shirt, the velvet smoking jacket or the polyester short-sleeved shirts. Your mother probably wore the red silk taffeta cocktail dress straight out of "I Love Lucy." The selection also includes vintage suits, cashmere cardigan sweaters, dresses, slacks, blouses and more.
