Terrible Service!!!. Wife went there last night with 4 other family members. The waitress from the start had a terrible attitude and it never improved. The staff blamed it on the fact that they were busy...wow heres a thought, work harder. Will not recommend this place to anyone. Stay away.

AVOID RESTAURANT AT ALL COST!!!. The steak sandwich tasted "fishy"!! The fries were cold and soggy!! The jalapeno poppers were actually whole jalapeno peppers (with seeds- - the hottest part!!) fried in a soggy breading with cheddar cheese sauce between the pepper and breading. AWFUL!!!

Called Nero's to let them know "sides" weren't with any of the sandwiches. The young, inexperienced girl who answered the phone was of no help...gave no answers, no customer satisfaction!!! She told us to "hold on". Another woman (manager) came on the phone. The manager was GRUFF, RUDE, and CRASS!!! She (similar to "Rain Main") repeated herself several times telling us that the side dishes have not been given out to customers for over 6 months, but that customers had to request them. Each time, we told her that we were never at their restaurant and did not know. She refused to offer any resolution, and continued to be SARCASTIC, INDIFFERENT, etc., etc.!! We finally hung up on her after saying, "There are plenty of other restaurants around here."

We went into the restaurant to try and gain some sort of satisfaction - - NO CHANCE!!! The manager of Nero's Pizza and Pub DID NOT CARE that: our food was awful; we did not know their "new policy"; did not get the side dishes; and we planned on never going there again!!!

WHAT IS WRONG WITH PEOPLE LIKE THIS?????? Any decent, "normal" person would say something like, "I'm sorry you were not happy with your dinners and that we did not inform you about requesting the sides when you ordered. Please accept our apologizes and a coupon for ____ (or, "We will send out ____ to your home for you"), and we hope you will give us another try." Sounds simple - - right?? NOT for this restaurant!!! Obviously they have the customers that they want and don't care at all about attracting/maintaining any others!!! So, unless you are into terrible food and people who are verbally abusive and make you feel awful.....STAY AWAY!!!

Unexpected great pizza in Algonquin. Best thin crust pizza I've ever had. Crust was light, crispy and had an almost sweet flavor to it. Just outstanding. Not too much sauce. Sauce was just the right consistency. We went for a family celebration expecting your run of this mill takeout fare and were all raving about how great it was.
