With its glass display cases, gray-and-white linoleum floor and high ceiling, Equinox has a cool air. Lamps and Arts & Crafts-style furniture are among the big-ticket items. There are handmade cards and colorful humorous cards for all occasions. You'll also find gift items, including evening jewelry, hand-blown glass vases and picture frames, candles that smell good enough to eat, and glass paperweights.

Awesome Gift Ideas!. This is a great place to shop for gifts! You are guaranteed to find something different and classy here at many price ranges. The staff is always helpful and friendly. Probably my favorite shop in the city.

Customer service.... Bad customer service at Equinox? You must be crazy! Wrapping is free, even for $5 ornaments...staff very friendly and knowledgeable. I have never had a bad experience, but I have often noticed some very rude and patronizing customers...

wonderful store for everything. This store is top-notch from merchandise to sales personnel. Whenever we are in town we shop The Equinox as they have merchandise at Christmas time no other business has. The Christmas displays are superb.

Inexplicable. I can't even begin to describe this shop, it can't be done. They have it all. From furniture, lighting, home decor to giftware and know how to put it together. Without doubt, the best shop in Chicago. Kudos to the owners and staff.

A wonderful store.... Simply a wonderful shopping experience! I would recommend this store to anyone who is looking for a place to browse, seeking fun and different gifts, or searching for that perfect lamp....plus the gift wrapping is free, elegant, and a real time saver. If you don't have time to stop in, be sure to at least window shop--especially at night when all the gorgeous lamps can be seen in the windows.

BREATH TAKING. THE STORE HAS A CERTAIN CHARM ABOUT IT. IT

TAKES YOU BREATHWAY WHEN YOU FIRST WALK IN, SO MANY DIFFERENT PIECES TO PICK FROM. THE STAFF WAS FRIENDLY AND VERY HELPFUL WITH ALL THE QUESTIONS I HAD. I CAN'T WAIT UNTIL MY NEXT VISIT TO EQUINOX.

fabulous store. I live very close to Equinox and am always satisfied when I leave the store with packages in hand. If need be, I know I can run into the store and buy a last minute gift - literally in minutes!
