“This is a beautiful place for either a nice dinner or just to have a drink in the lounge.”
“Service and food as good as downtown maybe even better.”
“Service was great and the staff was very friendly.”
NEVER AGAIN.
We live around the corner of the Limestone Grill and do not frequent the restaurant. After our most recent experience we will NEVER go back and will not recommend it to any of our friends. Meals were
blah and very overpriced for what was presented to us. The person who prepares and plates the meals does not deserve the title of "chef". My ahi tuna was presented with a scoop of blah rice and a heap of even more blah vegetables. Steamed broccoli, carrots and cauliflower with ahi tuna? Really? Our neighbor ordered steak, my husband had pork and the plates all looked the same with identical heaps of cheap steamed vegetables. Terrible. The owner of the resaurant should pay attention to the presentation of the meals and the pairing of the fish and meats with the vegetables. Waste of money and time. HIRE A GOOD CHEF!!
Disliked: Food, Service…
The last straw. Because I live a block away from this restaurant, I have been there about 10 times. However, I will never go back again. On top of its ridiculous prices for a neighborhood restaurant, they recently began charging us $2 for a glass of TAP WATER. We were regular customers who were eating and drinking the entire time we were there. When we asked to speak to a manager about it, he was rude and unprofessional. I am very disappointed.…
papashep. This is one of the finest places on the south side of Chicago. Service and food as good as downtown maybe even better. It is a place everyone shoud experience for themself
A breath of fresh air. I was amazed when I walked into the Limestone Grill. This is a beautiful place for either a nice dinner or just to have a drink in the lounge. Service was great and the staff was very friendly. I usually go to the fancier (aka more expensive) places downtown to get food/service/atmosphere like this.…
