“He enjoys coming to therapy -- it is like a playdate in a super fun gym full of all kinds of equipment we don't have at home.”
wonderful environment. Our 4 yr old son has been in occupational therapy at the Bucktown location since fall 2009. The difference in his fine motor skills is really amazing. He is now pretty much on par with the other kids in his class at school. His confidence has increased and he is now able to fully participate in all of the activities. He enjoys coming to therapy -- it is like a playdate in a super fun gym full of all kinds of equipment we don't have at home. I have only positive things to say about our experience.
Fantastic Practice!. My son has been working with the fantastic therapists at North Shore Pediatric Therapy since May of 2009. He receives behavior, speech and occupational therapy at the Bucktown location. I am thrilled with each and every therapist that works with him - we have a team approach and the skill, insight and and concern that they show him has made all the difference in the world. Their support, guidance, patience, and direction has helped our entire family and we can't wait to see what another year will bring. We could not have gotten through this without you - you are all amazing.
Not just Therapy, but answers and help for the whole family!. My child has been going to North Shore for 3 months now and I thank goodness daily for having found them. My son sees a behavior therapist there and since starting he has turned into a new wonderful kid! Even his teachers are amazed- it feels so good to be excited when a teacher calls now! I used to dread dinner time, but with our therapists help my whole family can enjoy the time together. I 100% recomend!
Too much.... I have been going to this clinic for some time now. I have my child enrolled in many different therapy sessions. The prices for therapy in general are high anywhere, but I would think that a business would have a payment plan, or be more lenient on payments. I feel that my child does not need as much therapy as he is getting, yet I am told constanty that he does. Unfortunatly, my insurance plan does not cover out of network services, or that would help some. We sought 2 other opinions...none of which stated he needed so much therapy. He has gotten better with speech therapy, although occupatioanl therapy he has not. The Occupational Therapists we sought other opinions from wanted to work on completely different things, which we agreed wtih. The therapists that work there are very nice. Nothing against them...however turnover is high...which is also extremely frustrating. We will be leaving here and seeking a smaller place for my son...where the leaders are less intense. I want to reiterate its nothing against the therapists...they really are nice and tried to get help for the financial situations to no avail...
