BEST Manicure/Pedicure in the city!!

I've followed Nubia from one salon to the next, and she's the best around. Right now, she's at Siren, so that's where I go.

Siren is bright and welcoming. The staff is helpful and friendly, And Nubia gives the best manicure/pedicure I've ever had in Chicago.

She's really thorough, she cleans, refreshes, and massages. And, the she polishes to perfection!!

EXTREMELY DISSATISFIED

The receptionist rude and uncompetent. Doesn't listen, doesn't process the information, doesn't think about customer satisfaction, doesn't even get the APPOINTMENT TIME right!?! I should have walked away right then. The stylist, friendly (it's not his fault that he hasn't been assigned right); HOWEVER: Doesn't understand a word I say, since he's giving me exactly the opposite of what I asked for. After the color, I was put in the hands of an amateur blowdryer who couldn't even hold the round brush with confidence. Bottom line: appointment that should take 2-3h took 7h, the result wasn't anything that I asked for, my long hair completely dried out, horrible, horrible, disappointing. Furthermore, noone seemed to care or look for a solution for an obvious problem; I complained, but nothing really happened, except they offered me 25%off next appointment!!! Like the $$$ was an issue now! It's my long hair!! I made an appointment trying to be nice and give them another chance. However, today a month later, I have incredible gut feeling that tells me to stay away from that place. I still hate my color! I called to cancel, and noone even asked me why I'm canceling or would I like to reschedule!?!!? So much about customer service. The reason I'm writing this is simply I think that noone deserves to have their hair ruined, and Siren Salon needs a serious management/customer care rehab.

Bottom line: Good Cut

The bottom line is I got a good haircut. I am a guy. I could care less about vibe, atmosphere, personality of the stylist, etc. I am paying for a good haircut and that is all. Mallory gave me a good hair cut and I was happy. I almost always hate my haircuts and they usually take 7-10 days to grow in to my liking -- but Mallory gave me a haircut that I actually really liked immediately. I am making an appointment with her again tomorrow and going back for a second cut.

Best Salon!!

before going to this salon i never cut my hair, i got it trimmed. i went to Mark and he understood that so he started slow and now after 5 years, i give Mark carte blanche as to what he would like to do with my hair. I ALWAYS get compliments on my hair and the color of it. I have referred at least eight people to him and they have all stayed and loved him. He is very blunt about what he likes and dislikes, but his job is to give me a hair cut that looks great and that is what he does. I highly recommend siren salon and Mark!

TEDDY'S THE BEST!!

I always hate every hair cut I get. I dont know why but I've never been happy that is until Teddy cut my hair!! He is the greatest hairstylist in the whole world!! He's so fun and energetic and he made me feel so comfortable!! My hair cut and bangs look amazing!!! Ive never had so many complaints on my hair EVER!!! I highly recommend to go visit Teddy because you will not be disappointed!!! He's the best!!!
