Excellent Chicago Falttop Barber. All Flat-topers should take note of this superb old fashioned barbershop.

RJ (or AJ ?) is the name of a perfectionist barber in this shop in cutting flattops, as well as my horseshoe flat, the best cut I have ever experienced.

He takes the time with careful considerations, does not talk while concentrating, has a lovely dog

watching his fine work progress.

Best Flat Tops in the Country!. What a great place. I heard about if from several friends first. $14 for a first class, old school haircut that looked much better than the $35 hack jobs I've had for years. If you like your hair short, this is the place. NOBODY can beat RJ for his "horseshoe flat top" flat as an aircraft carrier (I should know - ex USN...LOL)!

Interesting place as everybody in the shop is related to one another - a real family business. Also EXTREMELY gay friendly ... for an ex military gay guy like me PERFECT!

Awesome Barbershop. Awesome! Five barbers on the day I went. They are VERY busy, but the wait is definitely worth it. It's a no-nonsense real man's barbshop. No salon atmosphere here - traditional barber chairs and constant buzzing of the clippers. They do all kinds of haircuts, but on my trip every guy was getting clippered short - me included. They use American Crew products - I recommend the pomade. I will will be a regular customer. The only problem is finding parking. The price is definitely right - only $14 bucks for a great haircut. They will even razor shave the neckline - a lost art at many other shops.

Good, inexpensive haircut. Love this place for a cheap hair cut. Only place in town you can get a $12 cut and not feel like it's a $12 cut. Great magazine selection while you wait--and you will wait.
