The Scene – Check pretenses at the door; this is not a haughty modern spa. No made-up receptionists tower over you in designer shoes, and there's no intimidating list of exotic treatments. Simplicity reigns at this Japanese-style spa for women. It's clean, comfortable and modest, with homey touches and welcoming employees who set the tone for relaxation. I adore this place!!

I have been going to Thousand Waves for about 5-6 years now. I used to go to a few other places on occasion, but now I am true to what I think is THE best place to relax and get a massage.
Never Again
by dimples002 at Citysearch
I was treated rudely the moment I walked in and thought maybe they were having a bad day so I went for my massage which was very very poor. My husband did a better job. When they asked how everything went on my way out I said I was not satisfied and the receptionist, well thats too bad, that will be $80 please. I will never go there again.
- Cons: Bad Service, No Parking, Non Caring
Nice Spa.. But don't go on a Saturday!
by jessicaleigh45 at Citysearch
I made the mistake of getting a massage on Saturday afternoon. The staff was great - very friendly and welcoming, but the other patrons were RUDE!! I was unable to use any of the amenities such as the whirlpool or the sauna because a few groups of 45-ish women were monopolizing the whole area. When it was time for my massage all I could hear was slamming lockers and people standing outside the door talking. I'll go back, but on a weeknight.
