Miracles Do Happen

I was totally devastated when I broke my engagement ring. A friend of mine highly recommended Gregg Helfer. I called immediately, explained what happened, brought in my ring and amazingly he was able to fix it. In less than a week, I had my ring back and it looks better now than when I originally got it. The work he did on my ring is incredible. I have never had a personal jeweler but I do now.

Excellent quality and customer service

Gregg designed an eternity band for my wife, which she loves. He was able to exactly create what she wanted and imagined in a low-key, professional manner. We had an initial consultation with him, reviewed the wax model a week later, and had the finished ring about 10 days after that. Gregg's price was very fair, and the quality was exceptional. We will certainly use him for our future custom jewelery needs.

Simply the best!

I've recently purchased both an engagement ring and wedding bands from Gregg and I can't fully express how impressed I was with both the products themselves and the customer service that Gregg & his staff provided.

Starting from our first meeting, Gregg was honest and upfront with me. He was intentional in gaining my trust and respect while upholding a excellent level of professionalism. Throughout the designing process, Gregg took time to get to know both my fiance and I with the intent to make these rings personal and special. Gregg's ability to remain patient throughout the process while offering quality advice and direction was a common theme throughout the time we spent together. I never felt rushed and appreciated all the time he blocked out for me. Gregg's creative & artistic eye for jewelry is outstanding, and truly exceeded my expectations on many levels.

I gave Gregg some freedom and room for creativity when designing the final ring designs...and it was the best decision I could have ever made. Every aspect of the jewelry is perfect, unique, and customized--its as if Gregg new exactly what I was picturing in my mind. There are no limits with what Gregg can accomplish, he will find a way to make it happen--at times it was as if he and I were a team. Gregg kept me posted on his work via CAD images (visual models/proofs) which allowed us to customize every aspect of the jewelry. On a daily basis, strangers will make a point to stop and comment on her ring with:

>"...you can see that sparkle from across the room!"

>"....that is so elegant and unique."

>"....[gasp] that is beautiful!"

>"....I've never seen anything like that before."

Having such a trustworthy and personal relationship with a very experienced and confident jeweler makes the process that much more enjoyable and stress-free. Gregg will go to bat for you until you finally say, "its perfect, Gregg." I would undoubtedly recommend Gregg to anybody, I promise you won't be disappointed. I will not shop anywhere else for diamonds and jewelry.

Gregg beats all the "famous" competition by a mile.

My wife and I shopped at some famous name jewelers around town. The quality of the diamonds that we saw before we met Gregg were fair at best. We were so disappointed we considered not buying any jewelry at all for our anniversary.

I bought my wife's engagement ring from another jeweler and we weren't happy with the quality. We decided to look to Gregg though, and they are just perfect. Incredible 4 C's values for everything! We won't shop anywhere else for diamonds and jewelry ever again!

She loves it!

Beautiful engagement ring.. it just sparkles! Much cheaper than at a retail store on jewelers row, and I got the comfort of dealing with Gregg Helfer....who is the most credible person I met in the Loop. The diamond is perfect and certified... unlike some I saw at shady local jewelers . The ring and setting were perfect size for my finace. The diamond has exceptional color and bling value. Best value...no doubt.
