I went in to see Nicole just before the holidays. I was also referred to her so I felt comfortable. I wanted to file a bankruptcy and she advised me against it. She actually told me that I was the boss but she thought it was in best interest to tighten up my belt and pay my creditors because I had a small amount of debt. She helped me work on a payment plan to have all my debt paid down in a year and still kept my good credit rating. I didn't really want to file for bankruptcy but I was overwhelmed and thought it was my only way out but when she told me that I could actually afford to pay my bills and showed my how I was like ok I will refer this woman to everybody I know. Now I don't know her as a real estate person but the person is correct she is nice but all of that not knowing what she was doing seems like a different person that I met and talked to a couple of times over the phone. I say give her a try because she took care of me and did not try to force a bankruptcy down my throat and my girlfriend who referred her to me praised her. Now with all that being said she told me to pay down the debt beginning the new year (January) and I haven't started yet but that's my fault not hers. If I decide I can't pay it and I definitely want to file bankruptcy Nicole will be the first person I call.

Seems there is a mix of reviews here! But here's my experience. I contact Nicole this past year maybe Dec to handle a real estate contract for me because I was purchashing a property. I wanted to make sure everything was in order as it should be. Nicole was very nice when I initally met her and I felt comfortable giving her my business. But as time went on that all changed. She basically screwed up my whole deal by mishandling the paperwork. Things she should have caught she didn't -- I did. The repeated revisions to my contract because of her mistakes caused a delay in my closing the deal. Eventually, I lost all faith in her and sought out another attorney for help. When I tried to address my concerns with Nicole she became defensive.
My opinion is that people LOOK ELSEWHERE for legal help or if you decide to use Nicole's services then PROCEED WITH CAUTION. Maybe if even a second chance Nicole will do better?

Attorney Lawson saved my life. I am a bit confused with the previous posts, but rather than dispute them, I would like to share my experiences. I came to Attorney Lawson confused, broken and feeling as if I had no options. All of my life I prided myself with being independent and making very good financial decisions. I had perfect credit and was on my way to fulfilling my dreams. Well, a bad marriage and even worse divorce left me burdened with a lot of grief and debt. Everything I worked hard for was going down the tubes. I came to Attorney Lawson and she gave me hope. She explained my options and was with me every step of the way. She knew I was scared and had gone through a lot so she handled everything and took the pressure off of me. She was also available to answer all of my questions and to give me updates and let me know what to expect. I never thought I would have to file bankruptcy but Attorney Lawson gave me hope and helped me to build up my credit again. Now 2 years later, I am better off then before and living an incredible life. Attorney Lawson is very professional, knowledgeable, personable and a class act. I am sorry some of the others felt that way, but I would recommend Attorney Lawson to anyone who needs help in her areas of expertise. She gave me a 2nd chance.
- Pros: Professionalism, Patient, Knowledgeable, Gave me hope
- Cons: Office was far from my house but worth the drive.
