Worst Bridal Experience

The woman helping me was rude, snobby, and my friends questioned her treatment as probably having to do with skin color. I have never been treated so badly by a sales associate. I had made an appointment, was nicely dressed, and had the ability to pay for any dress. But she treated me like I was poor and should not have been in the shop. I left in tears. DO NOT go here!

Dimetra is a Greek Goddess of wedding dresses!!

Dimetra saved my dress mishap. I had puchased a dress from Weddings 826 on Armitage in Lincoln Park & they ruined my dress w/ less than 2 weeks until the big day. I came to Dimetra w/ low expectations, I was ready to get married in my white bikini on the beach in Hawaii. But she dropped everything & w/in minutes, I was wearing a dress that exceded my fairytale dreams. She brought over the perfect earrings & suggested the perfect place to get my shoes. She even offered to alter other dresses I needed some work on. I wish I would've gone there first & saved myself all the stress & heartache I indured from the torturess other salons like Ultimate Bride. They were the most vile, rude, prudulent bunch of women I have ever dealt w/. If you're not spending more than 5K on a dress & willing to openly boost about it from the second you step off the elevator, I can personally garruantee you'll be given then brush-off attitude. Their comission, their loss. I spent almost 7K at Dimetra's, she never questioned my budet, just brought me exactly what I asked for & I was able to realize my vision. My dress was altered to perfection in 3 days. She didn't waste 3 months of my time like Weddings 826.

• Pros: Relaxed, comfortable setting. The women there are super friendly & real, not pretentious
• Cons: A bit difficult to find when walkin up from the street, its on the 3rd floor, above Jilly's land
