I had Elvia as my instructor and she was really great.

I was always good at taking tests so I thought it would be the same this time. But driving, man, it really was different. I thought it would be easy but it actually wasn't. It was pretty frustrating but Elvia really helped me to learn step by step and taught me very well. Thanks to her, I finally passed the test today. If your goal is not only to pass the test but want to make sure you drive safely thereafter, I highly recommend Elvia.

About Nova Driving School I was a. About Nova Driving School

I was a 28-year-old male who had never driven a motor vehicle; however, today I can proudly say I am a confident and Conscientiousness driver with a valid driverâ??s license. This was made possible by the staff of Nova Driving School Chicago, most of all to my very patient and kindest instructor, Martha Naveda.

I started the journey towards getting my Driverâ??s License on 05/29/2012, Martha and I had four road driving lessons together and on 06/01/2012; I was licensed to drive in the state of Illinois. I passed my road test the first time.

Martha was the best; she did not overwhelm me with information; she conferred what was needed at the time, and when I triumphed, we moved on to something else. I was very comfortable driving with her.

Sometimes I forgot she was in the car with me, and then with a soft voice she would say TURN LEFT AT THE NEXT LIGHT HONEY, THAT WAS GOOD, BUT YOU CAN DO BETTER. TRY IT AGAIN.

Her overall approach to teaching new drivers is applaudable. I give her 100% rating. This is not just because I got my license at the first attempt; it is also because when I made a mistake, she instilled a confidence in me that made me know it was not the end of world, and I have the ability to learn and grow from the mistake.

This is what teachers should be made of, thatâ??s what she is made of.

I recommend that if you really serious about getting your Driverâ??s License and you are a first time driver, NOVA Driving School if for you, asks for Martha Naveda, tell her TREVON sent ya.

Nova Driving School-Excellence in driving skills.. I am writing this review in order to help anyone who does not have a driving license, is afraid of driving or has failed the driving test and has lost hope. I want you to know that I once thought I would never drive because I was just so afraid on the road. I contacted Nova Driving School and Iam so glad that I did. My instructor was Martha. I have these words for Martha..Exceptional, very skilled, understanding, very patient and extremely dedicated to her job. Martha helped me in many ways..she helped me to recognize my mistakes with great patience, she helped me to drive confidently as if I've been driving for years, she worked with me for hours with dedication. This is a talent that is very rare because I feel these qualities are very rare for one person to have. But, I have found all these in her. I passed my test on my first attempt after I took classes with Martha in Nova Driving school.

Sometimes we do very difficult things in life..like taking difficult examinations, giving presentations, doing complicated research..but are unable to acquire the skill of driving. I was in a similar situation. But then I thought of Nova Driving School and was very lucky to have Martha, who was truly phenomenal. Her skill, talent, patience, and most of all her dedication is very commendable.

I want to thank everyone who answered the phone at Nova for giving me very prompt appointments, for getting back to me even I did not get back to them,for reminding me before each class and for their kindness throughout.

Thank you Martha. You are an awesome teacher and a wonderful person. I will always remember you. On the day of the test, thank you for all your support.

I thank God for the great freedom and blessing of driving. Now I am driving 50 miles a day to my University and back home in Skokie. Imagine what I would have done with no license!

For all those who have given up hope..please rise up, give yourself a chance, pick up the phone and call Nova Driving School and ask for Martha.

You can do it, like I did!

THELMA is the best!. I was very nervous about learning how to drive. Thelma gave me the confidence that no one in my family could give me. she was very patient and calm with me when i made a few mistakes. she explained the reasons behind the things she was telling me to do. i took three 2 hour classes and was ready to go get my L's the week after. i was not trying to spend money on driving lessons but it was well worth it and i am very happy that i did.

If someone can teach her to drive, it has to be good!. My sister was able to get her drivers license after only two lessons. She is stubborn as hell, so if someone can teach her to drive, it has to be good!

Staff Sucks. What to say about Nova All I can say is they suck Ass!!!! I took 3 lessons and didnt learn a damn thing and the attitudes of the Staff is Rude and they never have promos going on I would never tell anyone about this driving school especailly 1st time drivers who are neverous so please don't waste your time and money at this school they are not worth the price and time and energy!!!!! THEY SUCK!!!

Nova is a great deal and Dario is the best instructor!. I am 32 and have NEVER drove a car, I took the 4 day class with Dario, I want to say that Dario is the ABSOLUTE BEST instructor!!!

Please I highly recomend that if you are looking for a driving school you choose Nova and ask for Dario, he was calm and taught an old dog like me a whole lot of new tricks, he never yelled and made me feel so confidant he did what no one else who has tried all my life to do, learn how to drive!

I passed my driving test on my first try with no mistakes!!! I have been driving now for a couple of weeks and I feel like I've been drivng my whole life I have no fear and am so confidant and comfortalbe driving now! I owe it all to Dario and Nova! Thank you!

Excellent Driving School. Elvia is a really good instructor. she taught me everything I needed to know and yes.. in 4 classes I got my Driver License. I highly recommend this school!!!!!

Best for the terrified! Seriously!. I got so sick of friends and family saying they would take me driving and never did. So i took my written exam got my permit and called Nova. After 1 yes only one lesson with Maria she said i was ready to take my road test In the same day! The dmv was so crowded they stopped road test for the day so i went monday and got my license in under 30 mins. I was extremely comfortable with her she's calm, patient and such a pleasure to be around. Stop relying on other people and call trust me I know how that is! Affordable patient and professional no other way. Go call now and ask for Maria!!!

Five Stars!. I was six years out of practice, and had always driven stick-shift on the left side of the road while seated on the right side of the car. Thanks to Nova, I passed the road test with no mistakes on the very first day of class. Carlos picked me up at 7 a.m. and we drove for four hours during which he identified and corrected all my mistakes, and got me confident enough to cruise to the DMV on my own. I had my license before noon. What I like best about Nova (and the reason I recommend them) is that Carlos is meticulous about technique and posture.
