Amazing trainers!.
Michael set me up with David due to his expertise with training athletes as well as his athletic experience himself (previously a semi-pro triathlete). The training has been intense but I am seeing amazing results already. I am hoping to get into the best shape of my life and shave an hour off my marathon time. So far so good! Highly recommended!

Results-Focused, Professional and Fun. I'd been curious about weight training for a while, but didn't have the knowledge or motivation to learn it on my own. A friend of mine told me about the benefits of having a trainer, so I called One-on-One Fitness in February 1999. In the first phone call, Michael was asked about my specific fitness goals. I hadn’t thought about it that way. My first goal was to tone up, while not hurting myself, and learn about what I was doing…and that’s what we worked on first. From there, my goals have changed and evolved; the trainers modify what we do and how we do it, to achieve the goals and keep it interesting. One-On-One Fitness Personal Training.
Working out with Michael and his personal trainers at One On One Fitness has changed my life. I have never been more motivated to get in shape and stay in shape since working with One on One. Michael took the time to design a program to meet my personal fitness goals by designing a meal plan, cardio, and strength training program just for me. He is vastly knowledgeable about diet and that has been very helpful. Michael is encouraging, professional and he makes the workouts fun. Now other moms ask me constantly what I do to stay so fit.

I needed help; and I decided that it was time to hire a personal trainer. I began by searching the internet; and in my quest I viewed multiple web-sites and web listings. Through little more than ?gut feeling,? I narrowed the possibilities down to a manageable list and then I began to contact the finalists. Michael Sokol from One-on-One Fitness immediately impressed, as he began by first determining what my level of fitness was and what my goals were. Michael then described the services his firm offered, and specifically how he could help me to reach my goals. After answering all of my questions (and there were many!) thoroughly, I was sold; and I agreed to try One-on-One for three months.
Shortly after our initial conversation, Michael introduced me to one of his trainers (Chris Rangel), and my training began in earnest. Chris began by having me perform a battery of exercises to determine my athletic ability, my strength and my stamina. He also, as Michael promised, provided several lectures concerning diet, stretching, and other relevant topics; effectively creating a comprehensive fitness program designed for me. As each week passed, Chris challenged me with varied and increasingly difficult workouts designed to achieve my various goals. Chris always showed up on time, was always pre-prepared with a new and challenging work-out, and always had time to answer my many questions. Chris is unbelievable, and I am grateful for his efforts on my behalf!
In closing, let me say that I have accomplished much during these past three months, and I have re-upped for another 3 month package. I am truly a satisfied client, and I give One-on-One fitness my absolute highest recommendation! See you at the gym!

Amazing Results in 3 Months!!. I have always exercised and kept in pretty good shape, and thought I knew a lot about fitness and nutrition. However, when a friend of mine hired One-on-One Fitness, within 3 months I saw remarkable changes in his physique. So, I decided to give One-on-One Fitness a try. I spoke to Michael Sokol, the owner, for about 30 minutes, during which he asked detailed questions about my lifestyle and goals, and provided me with the most simple, doable, and comprehensive fitness and nutrition education I have ever heard. I was eager to sign up for a 3-month package. In less than 4 weeks, I reached a new level, and after 3 months I looked like a fitness model. Personal Service Nets Results and Long Term Customer.
After many years of yo-yoing through various diet programs, some requiring exercise, most not ? I had had enough and now needed to drop not just the 40 pounds I originally aimed to drop, but an additional 70 I added after my last big heart break. I tried a gym membership ? and quickly learned I had no idea what to do. Finally I summed up the courage and purchased one of the gym?s personal trainer programs. Funny thing was it wasn?t personal and there was little training. If I didn?t run the guy down, he would never follow through. I needed someone to push me, not the other way around. When I stopped calling, the big impersonal gym and its trainer never called.
Fast forward a year, and seeing my sister?s success working with a personal trainer in another state. I was encouraged to try the personal trainer route again.
I found One-on-One Fitness through their web site, and was a little intimidated at first. Then I spoke with Michel Sokol on the phone and I knew that his personality was right for the job ? honest, straight forward, committed, knowledgeable and serious about helping people achieve their goals.
I?ve been working with Michael for almost three (3) months and have made excellent progress. What?s the difference? Michael might say it is the combination of Cardio, Strengthening and Nutrition that his program offers, and that is true ? but it is more than that. Michael invests himself in my success. After my first workout with him I got home ? still red faced, huffing and puffing and the phone rang, it was Michael asking how I was doing ? was I sore, where was I sore what to take for relief and making sure that I planned to have the last of my 6 meals of the day.
BINGO! Whoever say?s business is not personal is wrong. From my prospective One-on-One Personal Fitness, lead by Michael Sokol, is a successful business because it is personal. Thanks Michael!

My first 8K!. After signing up with One-on-One Fitness, I was able to complete my first 8K run! Never in my life have I been a runner, but thanks to training with One on One, I finally completed a 5-mile race under my goal time. I trained with Michael (the owner) for my first month and then trained with Dave for another 5 months and was pushed to get in the best shape of my life. While their regimen (diet included) is very strict, if you follow it, you will acheive results. In my case, I didn't follow their program to the T (I love alcohol and food too much to give that up) but nonetheless, the physical fitness/personal training aspect of it was enough to get me the strength and health I desired, and loosen my pants enough to make me feel the training is worthwhile. Another aspect that I really liked is that the gym they train at is almost all personal trainers and their clients, so you never feel uncomfortable or like there are people watching you. The trainers are professional and know their stuff, but they're also fun. If I had the funds, I'd have continued training with them!
Great results!. I've had great results and an excellent experience with one on one. I would recommend it to anyone that is looking to get in shape.
