In Short – The best seats in this small, pleasantly decorated dining room are at the sushi bar, where sushi chefs churn out artfully presented maki and nigiri. Specialty rolls include the Santa Fe with shrimp tempura, Boston lettuce, cucumber and avocado with spicy may; and Rock 'N Roll maki with broiled eel, crispy salmon skin, spinach, cream cheese, cucumber, baby radish and tobiko. A couple dozen nigiri choices include yellowtail, red snapper, flounder and surf clam.

Awful Sushi

by jeffreywkim

I ate their lunch special and the Sushi was absolutely horrible! The fish was from the bad part of the fish, as it tasted stringy like threads of sewing thread. I find it hard for anybody to believe this place has good sushi. Maybe the cheap lunch special was a reason for the poor quality, but nevertheless a restaurant should never serve food that is not fresh. I will definitely never eat here again.

  • Cons: poor quality, not fresh, not prepared well

Small and out dated

by bethmontgomery

I read the few reviews here and since I was new to the area, I'd start with the smaller restaurants and work my way up to the bigger ones. The sushi here was not fresh and was priced the same if not more than some of the bigger places on clark street. The decor was very traditional and outdated for the lincoln park area. This place is just too small (and I don't mean cozy) for my taste. I recommend any of the busier and bigger sushi restaurants on clark over this place for fresh fish.
