Jones Intergroup Financial Svc

I would warn everyone NOT to go to Jones Intergroup!!!. I did not even want to give this horrible place a 1 rating but there is not a 0 selection. I would warn everyone NOT to go to Jones Intergroup. I went to Larry " the snake" Jones and he messed up my VERY basic tax return. My taxes were so basic I should have done them myself, trust me I would have been better off. Two years later the IRS informed me that my taxes were completely misfiled. I had to call Mr. Jones 8 times before he bothered to take my call. He looked at my return and said it was an honest clerical mistake and that he would pay the penalties (which I later found out is standard practice for accounts) BUT Mr Jones NEVER sent me the check. I called him over 25 times and sent several emails but being the coward & lier that he is he never paid me back for his mistakes. He is awful accountant. He is not to be trusted. I am still shocked and hurt by this persons lack of consideration for his clients and the pitiful service I received. I use to go to H&R Block but a friend suggested I try Mr. Jones. HOW I wish I did not go to him. He is a lying snake! I now know my friend that referred me also had issues with their taxes and with him as well. This man needs to be out of business, he is awful!!!!…

RUN & RUN FAST!. This financial company is absolutely HORRIBLE, this year i went to Mr. Jones so he could do my taxes. For about four years Mr. Jones has been doing my taxes & for the first year i was impressed with Mr. Jones & i even sent a couple of friends to him. The next year he did a decent job & i had no complaints, but the 3rd year i notice that it was taking a really long time for my taxes to come through.

& every-time that i called Mr. Jones he would make up some excuse on why he couldn't get to my taxes & how i was the next on the list to get my taxes done, but i continued to see NO results with Mr.Larry responding to doing my taxes so i decided to just let someone else do my taxes last year.

When this year came around i figured that if i got my information to Mr.Jones really early that i would have my taxes in at least 3 weeks to a month, so this time i fax Mr. Jones my tax information as soon as i got my tax papers. This time he took even longer to do my taxes, I had sent Mr. Jones my information in January & I called Mr. Jones n the beginning of February to see when my taxes where coming.

Mr. Jones begin to tell me how he was busy & i was next on the list (again). I started thinking wow here we go again, but i didn't want to get into a conflict so i decided to call Mr. Jones back at a different date & i was thinking that he would have my taxes ready. I called Mr. Jones back two weeks later & talk to Mr. Jones on his (312)-803-5858 number & Larry still had not begin to do my taxes.

Mr. Jones did my taxes right over the phone (so I thought) then he inform me that my taxes will be here on March the 1st on the 5th of March i called Mr.Larry & come to find out my taxes where not their again & then MR.LARRY JONES gives me a nice little script about how it takes longer for my taxes to come since i dont have much coming back.

By this time i was becoming really annoyed & angry that someone that is supposedly suppose to be professional just does things when he wants to do them. Instead of saying that "He's really backed up this year & he will not be able to get to my taxes this year". I would have been perfectly okay with that statement & came back to Mr.Jones next year.

I called back Mr. Larry a week later & i ask him about my taxes Mr. Larry tells me hes going to check on my taxes & that he will call me back in 20 minutes. A hour goes by & i decide to call LARRY back, Larry tells me that he just spoke to the government & that they will send my check out on monday. That's the same story he told me last time, but this time the story gets worse.

Then he tells me that im getting back $200 when at first he said i was getting back $700. TACKY, TACKY, TACKY,TACKY BUSINESS!!! My boyfriend introduced me to MR.JONES & 20 other people for tax reasons & i introduced 4 people that i new to MR.Jones, but after this year i have nothing but negative things to say about Mr. Jones & i will never do business with him again & i will encourage others to not deal with him either.

My boyfriend loves Mr.Jones services & i have no idea why considering last year his taxes did not go well & this year he still has not gotten back his taxes either & hes not getting much back at all. I strongly suggest to him & others that we should find someone else or go to an HNR BLOCK, bc we will get the same amount back & are taxes will come back fast.

But my boyfriend strongly loyal to Mr.Jones when Mr.Jones is clearly doing him over as well...But once I find a professional tax person that actually does their job instead of making people wait months to get their taxes, i will be introducing everyone to that person...Bc this is a tacky business...Who has to wait months to get their taxes back & on top of that they dont even get back what their tax person said they would?

Mr.Jones is just so tacky now i'm very upset with his services.…
