The Scene
Stylish 20-somethings fill this energetic three-room club, a popular late-night dance destination for the Halsted Street set. The space has undergone an extreme makeover since its dark, windowless days as Manhole: Walls are now splashy shades of aquamarine (in the front bar) and fire-engine red (in the more open middle bar area), and front and side garage-door windows open to the street on warm days. Club music thumps, and dance videos give posing patrons something to look at. The crowd is mixed early, but after midnight it's boys, boys, boys.
The Draw
Hydrate has something going on every night of the week, from dollar drinks to drag shows, exotic dancers and a "gay lotto" with money giveaways. The main attraction is on the dance floor, though, where mist machines keep weekend revelers cool while stand-out DJs like Ralphi Rosario, Teri Bristol and Grammy-winner Frankie Knuckles spin tunes into the wee hours.

DO NOT GO HERE!!! THEIVES LURK HERE! PICK POCKETING, WALLET SNATCHING, DIPPING INTO PURSES STEALING WALLTES!!! MY COUSIN, MY FRIEND AND MYSELF WERE HERE FOR NO MORE THAN A WHILE...GUYS PAIR UP 2 DANCE WITH US PRETTY CLOSE AND BEFORE WE KNEW IT...ALL 3 OF OUR WALLETS WERE GONE!!!! SLEEZEY LOSER BI%CHES! IT HAPPENS QUITE OFTEN I'VE HEARD THRU STAFF AND ONLINE REVIEWS I'VE JUST READ. NEVER GO HERE AGAIN!!!! PATHETIC PEOPLE HANG HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BEWARE OF PICKPOCKETING THEIVES!

went there, my frist drinkS was 2 beers and it cost 6 dollers, an hr later, it costed me 8 dollers. THEY MESS WITH THERE PRICES!!!!!!!! DONT TRUST THEM ON THERE PRICE! TRUST
