The Days Inn chain boasts a solid reputation for comfort at bargain prices. While this particular property isn't surrounded by popular tourist attractions, it is a trustworthy option for travelers to the region.

The Details
This shouldn't be your top choice if lots of amenities are a priority. Guest rooms, though basic, are pleasant, and the service is friendly. The inn is 11 miles from The Loop and just 10 from O'Hare International Airport. For those visiting Chicago who don't want to pay downtown prices, this is a good option. The property also offers great access to points outward, since I-290, I-294 and I-88 intersect in Melrose Park.
