great massage. I haven't used VIP for hair or nail services so I can't comment on that, but I've went there several times for a massage. It was wonderful! I think Sarah S. is the best. I've has massages at several different places, at least 6 that I can think of, and no one tops Sarah! I'll be scheduling again soon

Wonderful atmosphere!!. I could not disagree more with the 2 previous reviews. However, it is understandable that each person's experience can be different. My experience has been nothing but great! I've been going there for years and I know for a fact that the receptionists would not hang up deliberately on a client... Also, the girls were telling me how cell phones are not allowed at the desk. Anyways, about my experience...once you walk it the aroma is breath-taking, there is always a smiling face to greet me when I come in. When I get my services done, the stylists, esthitians (spelling?), nail techs (or who ever is serving me that day) always makes sure I'm happy with the end results and they ask me how I feel. The make the experience very personal and they are all very genuine. I definately recommend this salon/spa!

Oh My God!. I called to get a 1000 dollar gift card for my wife and daughter and when I called, the 16 year old girl who answered was very rude and actually answered her cell phone while she was still on the line with me. I had to sit there and listen to her talk to her friend, who also worked there (they were talking about working there), about when and where they were going to get drunk that night (not very professional). I asked her when she finally got back to me, how I could get my giftcard or if I had to wait until her personal calls were completed before I came into the salon and paid for it. She stated in a rude tone that I shouldn't have called and that I just need to come in. She then hung up without saying a word.

Overcharge for bad service. I called 3 salons in the Joliet/Plainfield area to compare prices on a hair style before making appt. They quoted me 20$ so I made an appt. They seated me 20 minutes late (when I had a wedding to attend), and the lady made me look like a disaster. She told me she knew what I wanted, she didnt- she wasn't "up to date" with the times. Then when I was clearly upset, they told me it was $40. I told them I was quoted $20, and the manager was sitting there, and she did Nothing about it. They charged me the $40 without any apology for getting misquoted. So I ended up late to the wedding, with my hair in a ponytail (which I had to redo) and out $20. NEVER GO TO THIS PLACE! There are better options with more modern stylists. I have since called and left 6 messages for the owner- she is yet to return my call. I have told everyone I know in joliet and I will continue to tell everyone until I get a return phone call.
