I heart Salon Buzz. Trisha is AMAZING... I don't get color so I can't say about that, but I can tell you that my usually thick hair feels light and flowy!!!

I recommend her to anyone... and I send all of my friends to her also. Not one person has ever complained.

Best Cut in Chicago. Salon Buzz is the best in the city and Joseph will give you the best haircut and blow-out of your life! He has ten years of experience styling for runways and editorial in NYC and has an eye for customizing every cut to fit any face. Check out his website josephbartucci.tumblr.

disappointed in the city. I went to salon buzz after a friend referred me. I called up to make my appointment and I asked for a seasoned colorist. They booked the appointment with Kathy. I only have one thing to say about the appointment when I left., "How depressing was that experience?" The only smile that I got was the one that she forced herself to give me when she met me. If you don't like what you do then don't do it at all. The color was OK nothing extravagant in my eyes. I will go back to the salon and see someone else because the staff was amazing and the atmosphere was great and the location is perfect for me. That is why I gave it 3 stars.

Victoria's Secret Show - Say NO MORE!!!. Andreas, my stylist for the past 15 years was in the team that did the Victoria's Secret show in Miami in November! I had no idea until I saw him on E! working backstage. I had an appointment the following week and he confessed while he was styling my locks that he did the hair for the show with a team of stylists, I do not remember the other guy, he does Jennifer Lopez hair and he is in Miami. WOW! The hair on that show was awesome! So is my hair every time I go to Salon Buzz. When he is done with his cut, my hair has body, personality, is shiny and healthy! And it is so easy to do it at at home! Everyone is friendly there and they make you feel so special. I love Salon Buzz! Congratulations Andreas, great job on the show, great job with my hair!

the Best Blowout EVER...Angel is amazing..I have VERY textured, coarse hair. i got my hair colored and blown dry at the other Salon Buzz location (Delaware) on Friday (live in NYC, but work a lot; while in Chicago for a wedding, i got my hair done at Buzz per someone's recommendation). The color was pretty good, and the blowout was amazing...for about 5 minutes. NOw, my hair is VERY curly and frizzy. It's texture is similar to African American hair and is extremely curly. I loved my hair straight and was so upset when it didn't last. then, a friend told me that if I wanted a blowout, i must go to Angel. she said he gives the "best blowouts in the city." i also desparately needed a cut, and I decided to give it a try. I can HONESTLY say it is the BEST BLOWOUT i have ever received. it reminds me of when i was a little girl and would get my hair relaxed at the African American Salon. I cannot even tell you how amazing it looked, and 3 days wedding (post a LONG night of dancing at a wedding, flying back to NY, a day at work), it still looks great. I work on a trading floor, and everyone has commented on it. Angel was SOO amazing and I could not reccommend him more!

GREAT SALON ALL THE WAY AROUND FOR EVERYTHING ONE NEED'S IN TERMS OF PROFESSIONALISM AND GETTING IT RIGHT THE FIRST TIME!!!THERE'S A PROFESSIONAL STYLIST NAMED ARIEL THAT DOES A WORLD CLASS JOB THERE WITH EVERYTHING SHE TOUCHES, I WOULD AND WILL RECOMMEND ANYBODY WHOSE AMBITIONS TO SWITCH SALONS OR TO GET A HIGH PROFILE HAIR STYLE TO DROP IN AND ASK FOR ARIEL YOU'LL WALK OUT LOOKING AND FEELING LIKE A MILLION BUCKS....WITHOUT SPENDING IT OF COURSE

GREAT COLOR...BAD CUT. I recently moved to Chicago from Los Angeles, where some of the best hair salons are located.I had a great girl in LA that did both my highlights and cut so I was nervous to try a new salon for my highlights. I found Dimitra in the color department at Salon Buzz (River North)and she is the BEST! She did exactly what we discussed, she should have her own color salon...amazing! But when it came to my cut...ARIEL gave me the worst haircut I've ever had!!!!!!! We discussed "trimming" 1 1/2 inches off to "clean up" the ends. She cut 3 INCHES OFF MY HAIR and I now have a bob hairdo! I've always had my hair long and natural and she gave me an "edgy"cut, as she called it! I couldn't even cry I was so angry and in shock, they offered to give me a new haircut, but all of my hair was gone, so I go back there for my color, but STAY FAR AWAY FROM ARIEL, she doesn't do what you ask her to do! Note to self: watch while someone is cutting your hair, not reading a magazine.

So Surprised!. I accidently called this salon because I was recommended to a salon that had almost the same name. Whoever picked up the phone was so helpful and guided me through the appointment making process. After finding out that I had the wrong salon, I decided to just try it anyway. I LOVE MY HAIR!!!! They are the best at bringing hair back to life. The staff was great and I felt so comfortable. I even got my friends to go there now.
