Good Service, Mediocre Food, Pricey. Overall, the food was good, but nothing spectacular. I don't think the $100 was worth it. We both had a salad, an entree (which did not include a side) and dessert with water to drink. We didn't have a reservation, so we waited at the bar for about 30 minutes. When we were seated, we were brought complimentary glasses of champagne "for our patience", which I thought was nice.

best restaurant...period. This place gives me a little bit of everything. Great Patio, attractive, intelligent staff, brilliantly designed room, and cutting edge, frsh, delicous food. Gret place to take your parents or out of town guests.

One of my new favorites. I can't believe i just found out about Boka. Some of the best food in the city and definitely the best service. The mussels were as fresh as anything I can remember and the double chocolate dessert and bread pudding was great. I can't wait to go back and try the rest of the menu.

Good pre-theater dining, trendy scene. I came to Boka the first time, and had appetizers and drinks at the bar. The service was stellar and the food was amazing. We returned a second time a few months later and dined up front in the lounge area. Our experience was good, the food was, again, excellent, and the service was prompt. But the low-slung lounge chairs made me feel very far away from the table, and from my date. I would recommend requesting a seat in the back dining area, if possible.

the best in the city. This place, pound for pound is the best in the city. First of all, friendly, secondly gorgeous room & patio, and the food and atmosphere is redefining what neighborhood restaurant should be. Killer wine list and a great crowd. We will be back...just got top new restaurant in chicgo mag.

incredible. What a dinner on valentines day!

Spot on service, roses on the table, and beautful food. Loved the wine list. Interesting choices and selections. The room is one of the coolest in the city.

superb!. My husband and I had dinner last Saturday...sat promptly at 6:00,big crowd for that early, I guess because of Steppenwolf's proximity, simple food prepared beautifully, we'll be back

AVERAGE. The restaurant's interior was nice, but in all of the pictures I have seen of it they have focused on the lounge atmosphere seating. The picture with the overstuffed chairs at the tables and the romantic vibe is only in the front half of the restaurant. Most of the seating is more traditional and your typical restaurant set-up, and a little cramped. The food was excellent though, as well as the drinks. Seafood and red meat were wonderful. The service was very slow and not very attentive. It took us about 2 1/2 hours to complete our meal (app, dinner, desert). It took about 45 minutes for the server to even take our food order, and about 20 for her to bring us our first drink. Overall, it was average. I think Chicago offers a lot better restaurants to choose from.

Will Never Come Back. The service was extremely poor, unaccomodating, started from the unfriendly General Manager. I had a horrible dining experience, and will not come back.
