Park Grill

Nice view. I came here for lunch with some co-workers a couple weeks ago for the first time. One of them had booked a reservation online (isn't technology wonderful?) so our wait time was pretty short. The first thing I noticed after being seated was the view of the ice skaters, which I thought was cool. It's a nice change from the typical restaurant. I had the Kobe burger which tasted great and the fries were notably good. The price is higher (of course) than the typical fast food I usually get, but worth the quality of food and atmosphere. Overall, this was a nice change over teh typical fast food syndrome I normally endure and I would definitely come back.…

Disappointed. Had my birthday dinner there yesterday and was really disappointed with the food and service when my party stated that our food was overcooked. The beef tenderloin, lamb chops, and prime sirloin were all overcooked. We asked the server to take our food back and she made us cut to items open to prove ourselves and that's completely incomprehensible. The customer should not be attacked because they disapprove of medium well when they asked for medium rare. I never write reviews but this time I will because business should not be conducted this way and everyone in my party was unhappy with the service.…

Park Cafe was outstanding!. I ate here with friends during a visit to Chicago, and we chose to eat outside at the more casual "Park Cafe" (the outdoor portion of Park Grill, where the ice skating rink is during winter). The food and cocktails were excellent, and although it started to rain during our lunch, the service was also friendly, efficient, and helpful. They pulled the umbrellas over our table to ensure we wouldn't get wet, and made sure we got our food quickly since we were off to see "Jersey Boys" soon after. Try the mini burgers, fish tacos, or scallops, and the pear martini -- all GREAT!…
